The second break was a blast! My friend and I (Dutch) decided to take a trip to Tokyo, for a length of 3 days. During the first two, we went to see Ueno Koen, the Imperial Gardens, Tokyo sky tree, and the Diet. Ueno koen was a neat, but not as big as central park... still, i was amazed to see such big lilly pads! On our second day, we managed to go see the imperial gardens, but were unable to actually see the imperial palace, because tours were not given on weekdays; also, we could not go inside the sky tree, due to the fact that it was not finished. Out of all those places, i'd say that the Diet was the most interesting- this is because I researched Japanese politics/ gave a presentation in Nihon no reikishi class. hehehe
