Tokyo #2

On our fourth break-day, Daniel ( Dutch) and I went to go see the Tokyo Tower, The Meji and Yasakuni shrines, and Shibuya. I didn't agree with some of the things i saw, at Yasakuni, but i found it interesting because it contained the history of more than just WWII-war criminanls; also, i wanted to investigate the controversy for myself. (I got a couple of odd looks from some Japanese people hahahaha) Tokyo Tower contained a spectacular view... but, i was disappointed that it was too hazy to see Fuji-san.( some tour members actually climbed it) I thoroughly enjoyed the natural surroundings, at Meji shrine- i was especially impressed with the respect, payed towards it, by ordinary an Japanese business woman. The most exciting part of the day, however, was Shibuya. I loved Shibuya, due to the amount of people, and excitement going on there. All and all, i'd say that Tokyo is my most favorite destination out of this whole trip, and i desperately want to go back!
